Bossa Nova
After 27 years serving Brazillian cuisine at their West Hollywood location, they’re moving to our neck of the woods. They will re-open in February at 8630 W Sunset Blvd under the co-ownership of Aurelio Martins and Francisco Freire. Bossa Nova features an onsite bakery, full-service bar, and patio and balcony seating with views of Sunset Boulevard of the LA skyline.
The original Bossa Nova restaurant opened in 1993, and was named for the Portugese style of dance, as they always want to inspire a joyful and cultural experience for all of their patrons.
Bossa Nova’s bakery features fantastically delicious Brazilian desserts like Yucca cake, empadao de frango, empadinhas and alongside American staples like cupcakes and croissants. At the full bar, patrons can grab martinis, Bloody Marys and mojitos from Bossa Nova’s mixologists. Martins and Freire are crafting a line of juices made from the pulp of tropical fruits to add to their menu and serve a number of Brazilian libations upon their reopening, including caipirinhas, cachaça and sangria.
