Sunset Plaza’s Address on the Coronavirus

Coronavirus

Sunset plaza addresses the coronavirus

Since the unprecedented advent of the novel Coronavirus, life for all of us has drastically changed. The freedom of movement and proximity to each other that was once taken for granted has now been revealed to be a luxury we cannot currently afford. Our thoughts and prayers are with those on the front lines of this global pandemic: those doctors and medical support teams who are manning hospitals; local law enforcement; and those who work tirelessly in the grocery stores, post offices, gas stations and banks. Each one of them plays a part in helping us maintain the ability to go on with our day-to-day lives, and we are grateful for their efforts. Our thoughts and prayers are also with anyone afflicted by or impacted by the virus.

Many of the stores at Sunset Plaza have closed for the period designated to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus. Some of our restaurants, however, remain open for pick-up and delivery, such as Wahlburgers, Chin Chin, BBCM and Tocaya. You can call them or view their websites to see which delivery service they use. We will keep you updated on which of our stores are open, closed and anything in between via our social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Make sure to check to know exactly when you can, again, visit your favorite stores and shops.

The future

We look forward to a future when the Coronavirus is no longer the center of a global pandemic and when we can resume our daily lives with a renewed acknowledgment of the people and relationships that are most important for us. This time, more than any other in recent memory, has served to highlight these shared experiences of hardship, such as was endured in the last century, that have forged that which tempers our strength and courage.

When this event has subsided, life will go on at Sunset Plaza, as it has done in the past. We look forward to our stores and tenants re-opening and enjoying life in the post-pandemic world, and we look forward to seeing you here as well, enjoying one of the most outstanding scenic shopping destinations of West Hollywood and the greater Los Angeles area.
